Mediation (Judgment) Between Mohawk Council Of Kahnawake And Mr. Keith Myiow

MONTREAL,- Sept. 24 – All people from the media, all journalists and to everyone who has an interest in native matters, are cordially invited to a Press conference. This Press conference will be preceded by the signature of an historic transaction following a mediation conducted by the Honourable Justice Michel M.J. Shore of the Federal Court of Canada concerning a litigation implying the last election for the Mohawk Council of Kahnawake. The signature of this transaction to which Honourable Justice Shore will take part in will put an end to a judicial litigation which lasted for many years involving elected people of Kahnawake and should improve the climate around the Mohawk Council and the Community.The signature of the transaction will take place tomorrow, September 25th, 2009 at 12 :30 p.m. at the Mohawk Council of Kahnawake and the Press release will take place immediately after at 13:00 p.m. at the Edge Water Restaurant.
