This week, The McMaster First Nations Student Association (MFNSA) certainly has something to celebrate; the 20 year anniversary of its induction. To honour the occasion, MSU Diversity Services and MFNSA will host a Pow Wow featuring drumming, dancing and singing in celebration of Anishinaabek (Ojibwe) culture. Together along with some samples of local Anishinaabek cuisine, the celebration provides an opportunity to experience some of the rich traditions and meet the members of the McMaster First Nations Student Association. The event is completely free and will take place outside of the John Hodgins Engineering Building on September 25, from 11:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. For more information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 905-525-9140, extension 27459. To get involved with more Diversity Services issues and events, which span across all areas of ethnicity and culture, faith and spirituality, gender, ability/disability and sexual orientation, contact Ashlee Taylor at email@example.com.
