Minister Carr Launches Generation Energy: A Dialogue About Canada’s Energy Future

WINNIPEG — Media representatives are invited to join Canada’s Minister of Natural Resources, the Honourable Jim Carr at the launch of Generation Energy, a cross-country dialogue on Canada’s energy future.

Minister Carr will be joined by energy experts to discuss Canada’s energy future, including what it means for jobs, competitiveness and the environment. The expert panel will include:

  • Cheryl Cardinal, CEO, Indigenous Centre for Energy;
  • Aisha Bukhari, Women in Renewable Energy Advisory Committee member; and,
  • Patrick Dillon, Business Manager, Construction Trades Council of Ontario.

A media availability will follow the panel discussion.
