Missing 16-year-old girl, Burnt Church, N.B.

The Acadian Peninsula RCMP, Neguac Detachment, is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing person.Hilary Bonnell is 16 years old, 1.65 m tall (5 ft 5 in) and weighs 61 kg (134 lb). She is Aboriginal and has black eyes and long black hair.

She was last seen on Saturday, September 5 at about 7:30 a.m. walking on Highway 11 in the Burnt Church First Nation.

She was wearing a purple T-shirt, a black sweater, blue denim shorts and sandals.

A search party was organized by the community. Planes from the Civil Air Search and Rescue Association and the Miramichi Police Force have also participated in the search effort.

The RCMP is asking anyone with information about Hilary Bonnell’s whereabouts to contact Neguac RCMP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
