Missing Person Josiah Begg Search Efforts Continue

The Thunder Bay Police Service is utilizing resources from the Ontario Provincial Police to help continue the search for Josiah Begg who was last seen on May 6, 2017.
Yesterday a helicopter was in the air over the city to search the ground and waterways from an aerial viewpoint for any information that may assist with the search efforts. The helicopter will be resuming resume search efforts today.
This morning, members of the Ontario Provincial Police Underwater Search and Recovery Unit will begin searching the rivers within the city for any evidence that may also assist investigators. This search will begin concentrating on the McIntyre River starting at Lake Superior and work inland from that point.
Police are asking resident to check their yards and any outbuildings, trailers or boats that they may have on their property to ensure nothing is overlooked. The support of the community is essential and appreciated.
