MNBC Enhancement Agreement for Métis Community in the Lower Mainland

Coquitlam, BC – The MNBC, represented by Minister Responsible for Education Kay Dahl, took part in the signing of the Aboriginal Enhancement Agreement with School District No. 43 Coquitlam yesterday. This signing represents another key achievment for the Métis Nation.
The goals of the Enhancement Agreement support the objectives of the Métis Nation Relationship Accord, including increasing the knowledge and respect for aboriginal culture and history for all students, improving Aboriginal student achievement, grade-to-grade transition rates and the Six-Year Dogwood completion rate.
