Twenty-six sport organizations and five recreation groups will receive financial support through the Yukon Recreation Advisory Committee (YRAC) program, while sport organizations will also receive grants through the Yukon Sport 4 Life (YS4L) program
Thirty-one athletes and five officials will receive funding through the High Performance program, including Nadia Moser (biathlon), Dylan Cozens (hockey), Jack Amos (athletics), and Rennes Lindsay (swimming).
Recipients of the Elite Athlete program include cross country skiers Knute Johnsgaard, Dahria Beatty and Emily Nishikawa, who will all compete at next year’s Olympics.
