It is a benefit for Pull-Together which is an organization of Indigenous Nations and their legal Allies fighting against the TransMountain pipeline Project. The Tarsands (that the Transmountain pipeline will extend the life of) is probably the single most environmentally destructive project in Canada. The singers are the audience at the show. They are mostly passionate Toronto Climate Activists, so they are very committed to what they are singing.There are also four languages, English, French, Urdu and American Sign Language, so it really represents the diversity in Toronto. They’ve joined communities in hundreds of countries around the world in singing Resolution Song. Their goal is to inspire everyone around the world to make New Year’s resolutions to protect our planet from the climate and environmental emergency.
