It was a celebration of First Nations culture and tradition at Boot Hill Gallery in Okotoks.
Shirley Hill and her dancers came out to preform, engage and educate those that came to watch the show.
Hill says it’s important to her to share her culture with others.
“The importance of highlighting my culture is to bring the community together, and bridge any gaps of misunderstanding and to share the part of healing through dance.”
Hill has been performing at the Stampede Grandstand Show this year and says it’s a spectacular sight.
Carol Bishop, Owner of Boot Hill Gallery says it’s nice to celebrate Canada’s First Nation’s Heritage in this digital age.
