NBCC unveils New Beginnings mural

Fredericton (NBCC) – The unveiling of the New Beginnings mural took place today at the New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) campus in Saint John. Marilyn Luscombe, President and CEO of New Brunswick Community College, was joined by faculty and students.
“New Brunswick Community College is proud to see its students take the initiative to celebrate the many cultures that represent NBCC,” said Marilyn Luscombe, President and CEO. “This mural showcases the skills and talents that our students develop and express during their time with NBCC.”The theme of the mural, New Beginnings, reflects NBCC students and their unique history, culture and interests as they pursue their post-secondary education experience.
New Beginnings also encompasses the many programs offered by NBCC’s Saint John at the main campus on Grandview Ave, the new building and the Allied Health Education Centre.
“Our staff and students have shown dedication and skill in giving their own time to produce a mural that captures the essence and spirit of our diverse student population, programming and infrastructure,” said Diane Burt, Regional Director.
The phrase New Beginnings will be written in different languages, representative of the many countries and cultures that make up NBCC.
