TORONTO, June 30 – With reference to press release of June 22, 2009, by Metalex Ventures Ltd. (MTX:TSX-Ven), and related release of even date by Arctic Star Diamond Corp. (ADD: TSX-Ven), Dumont Nickel Inc. (DNI:TSX-Ven, DG7:FSE) is pleased to announce that, based on new analytical results obtained by Metalex from recent work completed by it on prior drill core from claims situated approximately seven kilometres south of the Victor diamond mine, Attawapiskat region, Ontario, Metalex has concluded that eight of the nine drill holes tested intersected “the margins or upper levels of buried kimberlite intrusive complexes”. Metalex further concluded that the new results “indicate that a new group of previously unconfirmed kimberlites have been discovered in the area”.After requesting clarification, Dumont has just received verbal confirmation from Metalex that some of the holes are located on Dumont’s Attawapiskat diamond Property claims, which are being explored by Metalex and its partners.

Dumont’s Attawapiskat Property is under option to Kel-Ex Development Ltd, a private corporation under Mr.C.Fipke’s control. The Property is being explored by Kel-Ex, at no cost to Dumont, under separate arrangements with Metalex, Arctic Star and Big Red Diamond Corp. (DIA:TSX-Ven). Dumont retains a 10% carried interest to production and a 5% interest in certain surrounding areas if acquired by Kel-Ex.

The June 22, 2009, announcement also indicates that Metalex is re-assessing other drill holes from the area which intersected similar material, and that an additional thirteen possible kimberlite intersections from thirteen separate drill holes have been selected for kimberlite indicator mineral and diamond recovery tests.

Further results and details will be announced when they are made available.
