The Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service is offering six (6) students the opportunity to gain valuable employment experience in partnership with our local detachments. The successful applicants must be returning to school in September 2008 and reside in the community where the position is located.Qualifications:

must be 16 – 19 years of age
must pass a background and criminal record check
good organizational skills
ability to follow through on assigned duties independently

Closing date for applications is Friday, May 16, 2008, at 16:30. The duration of the position is eight to twelve weeks, at a rate of $10.70 per hour. The location of the positions will be determined based on applicant’s location. Some communities being considered are Thunder Bay, Sioux Lookout, Cochrane, Sandy Lake, Mishkeegogamang, Fort Hope, Moose Factory, Fort Albany and Constance Lake. Resumes may be sent to:
