Nunatsiavut Government: Notice of Withdrawal of Candidate

The Nunatsiavut Elections Officer advises that Mr. Roy Blake has today withdrawn as a candidate for the 2018 election for Ordinary Member for the Constituency of Upper Lake Melville.
As the ballots for the election have already been prepared, Mr. Blake’s name will still appear on the ballots. In accordance with s. 36 of the Nunatsiavut Elections Act the Retuning Officer for Upper Lake Melville will ensure that notices of Mr. Blake’s withdrawal are posted in each polling station and will advise each voter when receiving their ballots on voting day that Mr. Blake is no longer a candidate.
