From Dream To Reality:
The Story of Treaty Land Entitlement

The Public Legal Education Associaton of Saskatchewan (PLEA) was commissioned by the Office of the Treaty Commissioner to create a guide to accompany the video From Dream to Reality: The Story of Treaty Land Entitlement. This new guide contains five lesson plans, handouts and answer keys aimed for use with high school students. The guide is available in PDF format on the OTC website here. The Office of the Treaty Commissioner will be mailing out the guide and DVD to all schools in Saskatchewan during the summer of 2011.

The SaskTel Aboriginal Youth Awards of Excellence honours Aboriginal youth who have demonstrated outstanding committment and/or ability in the following categories: Outstanding Achievement, Leadership, Education, Enterprise, Community Service, Culture, Sports, Fine Arts/Performing Arts, Technology/Science, and Spirit. The deadline for nominations is midnight April 8, 2011. For more information and nomination forms go to the SaskTel website.
