Credits: Partners In Research Canada
Published on Feb 14, 2018
Right now in Canada, the people living on 91 First Nations reserves do not have safe drinking water. In this webinar recording, Dr. Annemieke Farenhorst from the University of Manitoba sheds some light on this issue and shares what her team of professors and students are doing in partnership with 8 First Nation communities as part of the H2O Create program (www.create-h20.ca).
The Canadian government has pledged to make drinking water safe in all 91 communities by 2021 and Dr. Farenhorst discusses the challenges we will deal with on the way to that goal.
