It is a pleasure to introduce you to the Public Sector Aboriginal Business Association (PSABA). PSABA is a national non-profit membership association recently established and governed by a Board of Directors. As proud supporters of Aboriginal economic development initiatives the association recognizes the involvement of Aboriginal peoples in the development of Canada’s economy.PSABA was developed to serve the needs of Aboriginal companies interested in conducting business with the public sector. In addition, PSABA is committed to increasing awareness of government procurement strategies and developing new business opportunities for Aboriginal companies within the Federal, Provincial and Municipal Governments.

Aboriginal business owners are faced with increasing challenges in their quest within their development for profitability. The public sector in Canada is a large market sector, but new procurement initiatives and policies, particularly in the Federal Government, make it difficult for small Aboriginal companies to compete and succeed in this market. PSABA was formed to address these issues through professional development, advocacy and support.

We invite your organization to join the PSABA network of Aboriginal business owners committed to increasing access to public sector procurement opportunities. For more information on membership structure and benefits, and how to become a member, go to our website www.psaba.com.

For further information, please contact us at 613-795-5407 or email: info@psaba.com.

Sincerely,
Virginia Deschenes,
Executive Director
