RCMP assist in search for missing Quebec boy with autism

The Northeast District RCMP is asking for the public’s help to locate a 15-year-old boy with autism, who was reported missing in Quebec, and who was last seen this morning in Sugarloaf Provincial Park in Atholville, N.B.

David Alec Metallic, of Montreal, was visiting family on the Listiguj First Nation and was reported missing to the Listuguj Police on July 16, 2019. He was seen at about 7:30 a.m. walking in Sugarloaf Provincial Park.

David Metallic is about five feet eight inches (173 centimetres) tall, with a slim build. He has dirty blond hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark-coloured shirt and dark shorts, and carries a blanket that he often wears over his head.

Police are asking residents to be on the lookout for David Metallic and to contact the Campbellton RCMP at 506-789-6000 with anyone information on his whereabouts.
