Register now – Walk for Reconciliation – Sunday, September 22 in Vancouver

Tides Canada is collaborating with the Indian Residential Schools Survivor’s Society of Canada for the Reconciliation Canada initiative – a way forward through an open process of dialogue and truth-telling to connect a diversity of cultural, faith-based and multi-generational groups, aboriginal and non-aboriginal, to gain a better understanding of one another’s shared histories.

Registration for the “Walk for Reconciliation” is now open!

The Walk for Reconciliation is designed to transform and renew the very essence of relationships among Aboriginal and Canadian peoples.

It’s time to get past apologies and politics and money. It’s time to move forward. Together.

Our future depends on being able to simply get along, respecting each other for the unique gifts we bring. The time is now to show our children, our neighbours and even other countries that Canada knows how to get it right. This bold vision calls on everyone — all ages, all cultures, all faiths, all backgrounds. We believe that we are stronger together — in this place and time.

Start by walking together.

A 4k walk through downtown Vancouver
