National Aboriginal Role Model Program’s Process and Impact Evaluation
1.2 INTRODUCTION
NAHO/OAAPH is an Aboriginal-designed and -controlled organization with a mission to influence and advance the health and well-being of Aboriginal Peoples by carrying out knowledge-based strategies. NAHO/OAAPH is a leading organization in knowledge translation for Aboriginal Peoples in Canada and NAHO/OAAPH recognizes the importance of culturally safe care to the improvement of health outcomes for First Nations, Inuit and Métis in Canada. NAHO/OAAPH runs the National Aboriginal Role Model Program (NARMP) which highlights the accomplishments of First Nations, Inuit and Métis youth between the ages of 13 to 30.
