RMWB – Election 2017: Election Day
(Fort McMurray, AB – Oct. 12, 2017) – The Municipality is encouraging all eligible voters to cast a ballot in the 2017 municipal election. Election Day is Monday, Oct. 16.
All voting stations will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. MT on Election Day. Voters are reminded they are permitted to vote at any official voting station on Election Day or at one of the remaining advance polls.
A full list of official voting stations is available at rmwb.ca/election.
Voters unable to leave their place of residence because of a physical disability or other constraint can contact the Municipality to determine their eligibility and establish a time for an election official to come to their home on Election Day so they are able to vote.
Unofficial results will be posted at rmwb.ca/election as they become available following the closing of the polls at 8 p.m. MT. Residents can also follow the Municipality on Twitter @RMWoodBuffalo or their preferred local media outlet for unofficial election results.
