On April 13, 14 and 15 approximately 400 people will participate in a forum in Regina on the subject of Aboriginal Literacy. They will share success stories with each other and with the participants in four other literacy forums being held simultaneously in Vancouver, Winnipeg, Toronto and Saint John. Others will be watching the proceedings via closed circuit television from Whitehorse, Edmonton, Montreal and Arviat.Susan Aglukark is the keynote speaker for the Saskatchewan/Northwest Territories forum. The keynote speakers from other locations include Adrienne Clarkson, Fraser Mustard and Frank McKenna. You can learn more about the event, and register, at www.skliteracyforum.ca.

This forum will include approximately 32 breakout sessions with presenters who will share valuable experience with, and knowledge of, Aboriginal literacy. This is an opportunity to spend time with recognized experts active in the field of Aboriginal literacy.
