Six Nations Elected Council Meets With Confederacy Council
03/15/08 – The Six Nations Elected Council in a step towards creating a future model of governance and better working relationship with the Six Nations Confederacy Council met at the Six Nations Community Hall to discuss the on-going issues currently facing the Six Nations Community.
A presentation on how the Elected Council oversees Six Nations in terms of delivering programs and services to the Community began the meeting with a follow up presentation outlining some of Six Nations’ current issues and priorities the 54th Elected Council have envisioned for their mandate.
As the meeting drew to a close, both Councils will reconvene in the future and continue to work and find common ground towards a positive governance model for Six Nations.
