The unique cultural history of Prince Edward County will be on full display during Flashback February, a week of talks, film screenings, performances and experiences that runs Feb. 16-23.

“The schedule of events has something for everyone – from culinary workshops to children’s programming – and there’s a County connection with each activity,” said Jennifer Lyons, Head Curator, the County Museums.

The week kicks off with The Paranormal Show on Feb. 16 at the Regent Theatre, a nod to the Fox Sisters, who were raised in Consecon and later rose to fame in the United States for their ability to communicate with the dead.

The Paranormal Show, featuring parapsychologist Scott McClelland, promises the same hair-raising sense of wonder that the Fox sisters’ Victorian audiences would have experienced, as the weird and exotic world of the supernatural is explored.
