Ste. Rose du Lac RCMP respond to vehicle-pedestrian collision

On April 16, 2020, at 6:35 am, officers from the Ste. Rose du Lac RCMP responded to a report of a vehicle-pedestrian collision that occurred on Lake Road NE, located approximately three kilometres east of PR 278, in the Ebb and Flow First Nation.

Officers attended the collision and located the victim, a 36-year-old male from Ebb and Flow, on the roadway who appeared to have been struck by a vehicle. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The suspect vehicle had stopped a short distance away.

The driver of the suspect vehicle, a 27-year-old female from Ebb and Flow, was arrested for Impaired Driving Causing Death and remains in police custody.
