Suburbia Advertising receives Graphex 2008 Award Of Distinction
VICTORIA, BC, April 28 – Suburbia Advertising is pleased to announce it has received an Award of Distinction at the 2008 Graphex Awards, held March 28 in Vancouver, BC. The Award recognized unFILTERED, a publication initiated by Healing Our Spirit that speaks candidly to First Nation teens about the devastating impact of substance abuse and addiction. “This is really exciting,” says Mary-Lynn Bellamy-Willms, CEO and President. “unFILTERED is an important project from a social, health and youth development perspective. It is truly unfiltered, and reveals the harsh realities associated with substance abuse and addiction. We were fortunate to work on this project with Kim Sanderson of Consultant With Many Hats to bring facts and real stories to life in a very credible and thought-provoking way.” unFILTERED may be viewed at:
