About 50 people gathered at a Canadian Tire in east Regina today
for a protest. It stemmed from an incident recorded on an Indigenous elder’s phone on Wednesday. The video shows a disagreement between the elder and a store worker escalating to violence. That video has sparked a larger discussion about racism. Protesters say racial profiling is common for Indigenous people in Saskatchewan.
