Canada’s merchandise trade deficit totalled $2.7 billion in February, widening from a $1.9 billion deficit in January. Imports rose 1.9% and exports increased 0.4%.

These data provide information on the number of border crossings of international travellers for both outbound travel (Canadian residents travelling abroad) and inbound travel (residents of other countries travelling to Canada).

Methodology Changes: Census family low income measure based on the T1 Family File

New data according to the after-tax Census family low income measure based on the T1 Family File (tax filer data) are available for Canada, the provinces and territories, and census metropolitan areas and census agglomerations (CANSIM tables 111-0046 and 111-0047). The tables contain data from 2004 to 2015.
