Join us for this presentation about the life, work and legacy of the late Algonquin Elder, Dr. William Commanda, Officer of the Order of Canada and founder of the Circle of All Nations. This retrospective on his life looks at his personal, political and spiritual history; his advocacy of human rights and peacemaking; his work on environmental stewardship; and his inspirational legacy as a remarkable and beloved Indigenous leader who worked till his death at the age of 96. Presented in partnership with the Circle of All Nations on Tuesday September 25, at 7 PM, at the Main Library.
