Tim Barnhart, cannabis entrepreneur discusses the legalization issue from a perspective of inherent right on the Tyendinaga Mohawk territory

Tim speaks about the many issues surrounding cannabis legalization from the community aspects of pro and anti-cannabis as it relates to the public through to corporate interests and taxation or sovereignty issues for Indigenous, or First Nations communities. Barnhart discusses consultation with Indigenous peoples, or the lack thereof, and he also speaks on the founding of NIMCA, the National Indigenous Medical Cannabis Association.

Tim continues to discuss more on the parallels between cannabis and tobacco and the issues faced as an Indigenous entrepreneur in the area such as legislation and control effects on the inherent rights of Indigenous peoples.
