OTTAWA. x–10s. Assembly of First Nations National Chief Perry Bellegarde says the federal government would likely find it easier to get the Trans Mountain pipeline built if it moves the route and the marine shipping terminal to avoid Indigenous communities which are opposed to it. In an interview with The Canadian Press, Bellegarde says there are some communities along the coast which will never change their mind and support the multi-billion-dollar project.
