Chris Bloomer, president and CEO at Canadian Energy Pipeline Association, joins BNN Bloomberg to react to the Federal Court of Appeal’s dismissal of the Trans Mountain appeal. The appeal argued that the federal government did not sufficiently consult with the indigenous communities before approving the Trans Mountain expansion. Bloomer says the court’s ruling “clarifies” the standard of indigenous consultation.
