Treaty of Peace and Friendship Eastern Woodland Métis Nation Nova Scotia and Una Tribe of Mixed-Bloods

It is with pleasure that I announce that the Eastern Woodland Métis Nation Nova Scotia has signed a Treaty of Peace and Friendship with the Una Tribe of Mixed-Bloods, a Native American mixed-blood tribe in Eugene, Oregon for the betterment of our Nations in procuring recognition for the tribe as the first recognized mixed-blood/Métis in the history of the United States of America. We are deeply honored for this opportunity to assist our neighbours across the waters.

Background
TREATY OF PEACE AND FRIENDSHIP
Eastern Woodland Métis Nation Nova Scotia and the Una Tribe of Mixed-Bloods
2015
Preamble
We, the Una Tribe of Mixed-Bloods and the Eastern Woodland Métis Nation Nova Scotia, being of Mixed-Blood/Métis Blood, as Aboriginals, do hereby declare this Treaty of Peace and Friendship between our two Nations to establish a working friendship among our People.
Article 1
This Treaty shall continue in force for 100 years, upon which time it may be renewed.
Article 11
We, as two Sovereign Nation-Peoples state that we will work with each other to ensure the continuity and preservation of our Peoples, Cultures, Rituals, and Sacred Practices.
Article 111
Our Nations mutually agree to remain peaceful and friendly towards our Peoples.
Article 1V
All included in his Treaty should hold true to all orders emanating herein
Article V
We devote our willpower, courage and dedication to fight for the rights as Aboriginal People are entitled to as the First Peoples of the land.
Article V1
This Treaty of Peace and Friendship may be revoked by either party
Article V11
We set forth an open trade among our Peoples.
