University of Sudbury – Calling for submissions: “Indigenous Me” Youth Publication Contest!

The University of Sudbury, a member of the Laurentian Federation, is calling on Indigenous youth to submit a creative writing composition on the theme “What being Indigenous means to me!” Creative writing submissions can take the form of a short story, poem, short essay, open letter, song or written artwork. Submissions will be showcased in the University of Sudbury’s Indigenous Me publication and should touch on but are not limited to: cultural teachings, experiences, traditions, expressions you strongly connect with and/or feel best honors your Indigenous heritage. Help us promote cultural pride and diversity through your stories.

Submission deadline: Wednesday, February 27, 2019
Projected publication release:May 2019
