Victoria Gold / FNNND CBA 2012 Scholarship Program
Introduction
As part of the Comprehensive Cooperation and Benefits Agreement (CBA), Victoria Gold Corporation and First Nations Na-cho Nyak Dun have established a scholarship program to support Na-cho Nyak Dun Citizens attending university, college, trades / technical courses on a full time basis. Funds may be used for tuition, school supplies / equipment, rent, food, day care and transportation.Educational Focus
Primary consideration will be given to students entering the field of business, mining, engineering, geology, science, environment, community development, health and safety and other support roles related to mining. Other areas of study may be given
secondary consideration.
Selection
A committee comprised of two Victoria Gold representatives and the FNNND Education Manager will review and select successful
applicants based on the merits of the application and the intent of the funds.
Incomplete applications will not be considered and must be submitted by the advertised deadline.
2012 Application Deadlines and Award Dates
Course Start: Fall 2012
Application Deadline: August 6, 2012
Scholarship Award: August 20, 2012
Course Start: Winter 2013
Application Deadline: December 1, 2012
Scholarship Award : January 1, 2013
