September 8, 2017 – Yorkton, SK – A Yorkton man is $1,679,939.84 richer after winning the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA)’s Smoke Signals™ jackpot.

Donald Musey hit the Smoke Signals top tier progressive on September 5, 2017.
“My legs were shaking and this feels like a dream. I plan to pay some bills, pay off the mortgage on my property and buy a new SUV.”

SIGA President and CEO Zane Hansen welcomes Musey as SIGA’s newest millionaire.

“On behalf of SIGA’s Board of Directors, management and staff, I am pleased to welcome Mr. Musey to SIGA’s millionaire club.”

For Painted Hand Casino General Manager Charles Ryder, this win is very exciting for the casino staff and the local community.

“This is the first win at the Painted Hand Casino since we launched the new Smoke Signals platform. We’re all very excited for local resident Donald Musey winning the Smoke Signals top progressive here at the Painted Hand. The anticipation has been growing with the increasing jackpot, and we’re happy to have one of our patrons walk out of our casino a millionaire! Congratulations to Don!”

To date, the Smoke Signals top tier jackpot has paid out a total of $11,459,393.46. The Smoke Signals jackpot has been reset to one million dollars and can be won at any time.

Smoke Signals is a SIGA-wide jackpot that links 52 slot machines at all six casinos. There are three mystery jackpot tiers that increase over time, with specific starting and ending prize values. The largest mystery jackpot has a minimum value of $1,000,000 and pays out before it hits $2,000,000. Each time a patron plays a Smoke Signals slot machine, any of the jackpots could be triggered.
