Location

About this event
- Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes
This project aims to conduct a comprehensive legal needs assessment of youth at-risk aged 12-24 in Calgary, focusing on marginalized groups such as Indigenous, Black, and other racialized youth. The assessment will evaluate the current legal services available, identify gaps, and outline the legal services required to effectively meet the needs of this population. The findings will inform the design of a culturally responsive legal mentorship program developed by Affinity Mentorship Foundation (AMF) in collaboration with Fair Legal, as an extension of AMF’s existing mentorship programming to ensure more fulsome and tailored support is available in Calgary to help youth navigate legal challenges and reduce justice involvement.
