The Gathering is organized in partnership between the First Nations Leadership Council and the Government of British Columbia. It is one of the largest gatherings of provincial and First Nations leaders in the country.

The Gathering format (in-person, virtual or hybrid) is under consideration and will be confirmed early this fall to align with the latest provincial health guidelines in response to COVID-19.

Regardless of the format, dialogue and engagement will be the focus of this event. The Gathering will provide the opportunity for delegates to participate in plenary sessions, ask questions of speakers and panelists, network with fellow delegates, and visit exhibitors. One-on-one meetings between First Nations and provincial government leadership will also be offered.
