Tansi, My name is LORRIE and I am excited to get to meet you all.
I am a local indigenous artist, with Cree, Ojibwe and Metis roots. My work varies from traditional styles to contemporary and even a lill quirky at times. I use many repurposed and vintage elements in my work, because kookum always said there is a use for EVERYTHING.
I live and work here in the Treaty 6 territory, Edmonton Alberta, but was born in Calgary.
I love the stories Indigenous Art has to share with the world, and in my role as Executive Director & Artist/Event Coordinator with IAM Collective, I can share to a broader audience. I am blessed by creator to share in the stories of our over 160 members, with roots from all over Turtle Island.
