The FNEAA Board of Directors and Staff invite you to this year’s Second Annual Virtual National Gathering, on October 26 & 27, 2022.

Registration is now free for all participants! As FNEAA navigates the existing climate with the COVID-19 omicron variants, we’d like to invite First Nations Educations Administrators, Teachers, Elders, Students and all life longer learners to register today for free.

This year’s theme: Indigenous Languages: Creatively Respecting Traditions of Interconnectedness – Taking Action to Achieve First Nations Control of First Nations Education will focus on our diverse traditional knowledge and practises to create action and strategies for educational systems that are rich in First Nations’ values, languages and knowledge. The Gathering will include keynote speakers, keynote panels, and concurrent themed webinar workshops.

FNEAA will be using the Zoom Events Platform to hold is 2nd Annual Virtual National Gathering.

This platform will allow attendees to:

  • Create your own profile card with your photo, contact information.
  • View information about upcoming sessions at a glance and bookmark the sessions’ dates, times, and session titles.
  • View information about the event’s speakers and their session titles. View the speaker’s photo, title/position, company, social media links, biography, their session’s image, and tracks.
  • View information about the event’s sponsors, names, and biographies. and view their sponsor representative, sponsor representative name, and image.
  • View other attendees who are participating in the event including their profile cards and information that they choose to display. You can also network and connect with attendees by chatting with them, adding them, or viewing their networking profile.
  • Access the Event’s lobby where you can visit the Vendor Booths and Exhibits.
  • View recordings of every session after the event has ended

To be able to access the FNEAA National Gathering, you may be asked to download a free version of Zoom before being able to access the event.
