Join us for a talk in the Mamidosewin Centre with Algonquin Veteran Stephen McGregor.
Students and employees are invited to the Mamidosewin Centre to meet and listen to speaker Stephen McGregor, who will discuss his work and advocacy in promoting the contributions and sacrifices of First Nations in Canada’s participating in global conflicts and world wars.
Stephen McGregor is Algonquin from the Kitigan Zibi Reserve at Maniwaki, Quebec. He is a strong advocate for the contributions and sacrifices of First Nations soldiers in Canada’s wars overseas. He has published the history book Since Time Immemorial: Our Story – The Story of Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg, as well as a novel Two Trails Narrow.
This event will take place on November 10th from 12-1PM in the Mamidosewin Centre, located in Room E122.
