The Ottawa branch of the Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF) proudly presents the 2025 Equality Day. This year’s event will explore Centring Indigenous and Marginalized Women in Justice through a thought-provoking panel with guest speakers Frankie Young and Ayesha Kumararatne.

Please join us for a panel discussion followed by appetizers, networking and a silent auction. Doors will open at 6pm and the event will run from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on Friday, February 21, 2025 at the National Art Centre’s O’Born Room located at 1 Elgin St, Ottawa. Dress code is business casual.

For several decades LEAF has held an annual event to celebrate gender equality and equity milestones achieved in Canada. This annual event is LEAF’s largest and most important event of the year. The funds raised through Equality Day directly support LEAF’s vital work in advancing substantive gender equality rights for all.
