About this event:
Maison Mere Artists is a Burundi-based Youth Initiative founded by our elders back in 1998. The current Legal representative is Chamilla Uwimana, and Djuma Saleh has served as a General secretary and Spokesman since 2010.
This group’s mission is to bring all Burundian Youth together through visual ,graphic and plastic arts. As part of what we do, we present to the globe our local and cultural dances, songs, poems etc….
Maison Mere Artists showcases the unknown talents of Burundian Youth to the World through live performance as well as introduce the Burundian culture to the globe through dances , songs, poems and more.
Our main mission is to network and to introduce our lovely culture with our performances on the international stages. Youth is the strongest power for any country as long as it keeps doing what it is best and that which attracts more tourists to come and explore the beauty of our country Burundi. Through our show performance, we share the message of love, harmony and caring.
