Colorworks Toms Custom Autobody is located at 1830 Kingsway Ave, Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 1S5. We are currently looking for a permanent, full time Autobody Technician. If you are interested, please submit your resume by mail or e-mail.

Position: Autobody Technician

Wages: CAD$25.50/hour

Types: Full-time, Permanent

Working hours: 30hrs~40 hrs/week

Benefits: 4% of vacation pay, Employee discounts

Job Duties:

• Inspect vehicles for damages, review damage reports and estimate repair costs before planning repair work
• Repair and replace body, doors, frames, underbody, front and end frames to factory or customer specifications
• Hammer out dents and other damaged body using blocks and hammers
• Fill holes, dents, seams by using soldering equipment or filler

• Remove and replace damaged parts with various tools or weld replacement parts

• Straighten bent structures using pulling & anchoring equipment
• Make repaired surfaces smooth by filing, grinding, sanding
• Repair and replace glass components
• Repair or replace interior components including seat frames, carpets and floorboard insulation
• Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive to ensure complete job

Job Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school
• Completion of a three- to four-year motor vehicle body repair apprenticeship program or a combination of over three years of work experience in the motor vehicle body repair trade and completion of a high school or college automotive body repair program required
