Position Summary

Permanent full-time CLXT opportunity now available in Grand Forks, BC! If you have successfully completed a recognized Combined Lab/X-Ray CLXT program and would enjoy everything that this friendly, US border town has to offer; then we would love to hear from you.

The CLXT will perform a variety of routine laboratory, x-ray and ECG procedures in accordance with departmental policies, procedures and standards as defined by respective service and accrediting bodies. The Laboratory/X-Ray Technologist also performs routine and preventative maintenance of equipment and trouble shoots equipment problems as required.

Boundary District Hospital is a level 1 community hospital where the large team of healthcare professionals facilitate a range of interdisciplinary healthcare services including 24/7 Emergency, surgical services , inpatient care, community health programming as well as Laboratory and X-Ray.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity. Days of work are rotating and shift times are: 06:30 to 15:00, 08:30 to 17:00, 07:00 to 15:30, 07:30 to 16:00. Participation in the department out of hours and weekend on-call rota is a requirement of the position.

Graduation from an approved Combined Laboratory X-Ray Technician program. Eligible for registration with a provincial licensing body.
One year of general experience in both laboratory and diagnostic imaging fields or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience would be preferred.
