Construction Helper

Terms of Employment:
Permanent, Full Time, Morning, Day, Evening, Overtime, Weekend,

Wage Rate:
$20.00 Hourly, for 40.00 Hours per week (Overtime applicable after 40 hours a week)

Anticipated Start Date (at the latest in 3 months):
As soon as possible

Location of Work:
You will be required to work for various locations in Greater Vancouver & Lower Mainland depend upon the Company’s contracts.

Security and safety guidelines must always be kept in mind and be strictly followed at all the times. Hard hat, safety glasses and steel toe-cap shoes are must while performing the job duties.

Education:
High school completion will be an asset

Experience:
On-the job training provided however previous experience is always an asset

Language:
Basic English

Specific Skills:

• Load and unload construction materials and move tools, equipment, and other materials to and from work areas
• Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
• Assist drywall installers in construction activities
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment.
• Operate staple guns
• Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
• Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management
• Report incidents immediately to safety director, foreman or HR in accordance with incident reporting procedures established by the company
• Perform other relevant labour tasks as required
