Fable Kitchen located in Kitsilano, Vancouver is looking for an experienced full time COOK to join the professional team of our popular locally sourced farm to table restaurant.

We are looking for someone that is energetic, reliable, have passion for food and interested in long term employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete meals in a timely manner with consistency
• Operate variety of kitchen equipment and utensils
• Maintain food safety, high standards of sanitation and cleanliness
• Assist chefs, supervise kitchen staff and work effectively with F&B servers
• Maintain inventory of food and ensure the kitchen is fully stocked with fresh ingredients

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a cook working in a fast paced restaurant
• Ability to effectively execute made from scratch homemade recipes
• Thorough knowledge of food preparation and services
• Able to work lunch/dinner hours as well as weekend brunch shifts

Wage and Conditions

Term: Full time – 40 hours week

Wage: $15 per hour
