Salary: $15.00 – $17.00 / Hour for 40 Hours / Week

Benefits: Subject to wage increase, bonus and incentives.

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time

Start date: As soon as possible

Employment conditions: Morning, day, evening, weekend, night.

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of commercial cooking experience and/ or completion of college or other program in cooking and/or a combination of experience and education is required

Personal Suitability: dependability, team player, judgement, flexibility, reliability, organized

Specific Skills: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods; Supervise kitchen staff and helpers; Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment; Order supplies and equipment; Inspect kitchens and food service areas; Clean kitchen and work areas.

Additional Skills: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Working under pressure; Repetitive tasks; Standing for extended periods in warm and sometimes noisy settings; Using sharp kitchen supplies and appliances; Working with hot substances.
