What you will be doing in the role of Customer Service Representative:

Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Acting as a main point of contact for customers
  • Accurately entering data into the order entry system, ensuring all items are accounted for
  • Ensuring fulfillment of orders using established procurement procedures
  • Following up with customers, suppliers, and carriers regarding orders, expediting as necessary
  • Reviewing and revising orders when necessary
  • Maintaining correspondence with customers through email, portals, status reports and phone calls
  • Assisting and collaborating with sales team, other Lakeside teams, vendors, etc. to ensure that customer needs are fulfilled while satisfying Lakeside’s policies, initiatives, and business goals
  • Assisting with team’s product returns from the point of customer request through to completion
  • Filing and documenting as appropriate.
  • Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process/internal processes and procedures.

Knowledge and skills required for the role:

  • University Degree or College Diploma
  • One to Two (1-2) years’ of customer service and or/purchasing experience
  • Previous order entry experience
  • Strong interest in customer service, building customer relationships and exceeding customers’ needs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized with strong multi-tasking and time management abilities
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • High level of accuracy and detail with error-free orders
  • Working knowledge of MS Office computer application (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to understand current tools in detail and use them in an efficient manner
  • Entrepreneurial work ethic
