The incumbent will use their expertise and influence to develop and manage strategies focused on the D365 platform. This includes product ownership of several D365 CRM and ERP solutions, the CRC Learning Management system (LMS) and other digital products and platforms as required.

In this role you will be responsible for continually developing and enhancing all aspects of the digital product ecosystem including product features, design, user experience, usability, and accessibility. This role assesses the relative value and impact of each potential feature and the technical debt by communicating with the business units to create a coherent strategy for the execution and delivery of the products.

You will contribute to the organizational Product Management & User Experience by creating and documenting user-centric product management frameworks and approaches that can be replicated and scaled across the organization. The role will seek to bring a holistic Product Management and User Experience approach to the organization.

In this role, you will:

  • With a focus on D365- and Power Platform-based solutions, facilitate the product life cycle from inception to release and analyze the results to measure success.
  • Facilitate workshops to identify innovative opportunities/requirements for leveraging the Power Platform and D365
  • Collect and analyze business requirements by coordinating interviews and requirements workshops to collect business objectives
  • Prioritize bugs and enhancements in the Product Backlog, define functional requirements working with internal business partners.
  • Working closely with the Product Owners and/or Business Systems Analysts, translate product requirements into Epics, User Stories and the Acceptance Criteria.
  • Focus on the holistic user experience for all users of the products and develop the strategy to incrementally optimize the experience.
  • Work with the Project Managers as required to plan and carry out product releases where they are part of the PMO-led initiatives
  • Plan the Product Roadmap for the next quarter as well as plan the longer-term roadmap
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings, planning, reviews and retrospectives as required
  • Report risks, issues, decisions, and action items including following up with teams to ensure timely actions.
  • Influence insight development and measurement frameworks and key performance indicators (KPIs), lead KPI development and meetings
  • Contribute to the User Experience and Product Management frameworks design efforts led by the Director, Product Management &
  • User Experience ensuring the Agile and innovative methods while bringing customer centricity to enhance the organizations digital product offering.

What we are looking for:

  • University Degree (Marketing, Management, Computer Science, or related field) or equivalent certification or experience
  • 8+ years of experience in Information Technology
  • 5+ years of digital product management experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
  • 2+ years managing multiple products concurrently
  • Product Owner or Product Manager certification (Scrum, SAFe, etc.)
  • Ability to translate functional requirements to technical requirements and vice-versa.
  • Experience conducting stakeholder interviews, workshops, and product demos
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Apps and Power BI software
  • Good knowledge of the SDLC and ability to communicate with technical teams around API connection design and setup, software architecture and design, database design, information and networks security standards
  • Proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing) in both English and French is highly desirable
