Position: Drywall Installer (NOC- 7284)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time

Wage Rate: $27.50 per hour for 40 hours per week.

Anticipated Start Date:  As soon as possible

Education: Completion of Secondary School, college education an asset.

Experience: 3 to 4 year of relevant experience.

Language: English

Location of Work: Various locations according to company contracts.

Job Duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine layout and installations procedures.
• Measure, cut and fit drywalls sheets for installation.
• Mix and apply plaster, cut and install metal corner beads, fill joints, holes and cracks.
• Trim rough edges from wallboard to maintain even joints.
• Tape over joints using taping machine, fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and offered ceilings.
• Smooth out excess compound.
• Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.

Work Environment/Conditions: Outside, Inside, Heat, Sun, Rain, Cold. Depending on the work requirements, the candidates will be expected to work in the up listed working environment.

Work Setting: The candidates should be available to work outdoors full-time in the day or evening or on weekend if required.

Physical Capabilities: Large workload, physically demanding, Tight deadlines, Bending, crouching, Kneeling.
